Custom Fabricated Springs for a Park Torsion Spring for the Golf Cart Manufacturer

Project description:

A manufacturer of golf carts was in need of a vendor that could supply them with a custom fabricated torsion spring that would be used in a pedal assembly. At Stanley Spring and Stamping Corporation, our facility is equipped with advanced CNC torsion equipment that can produce precision, high volume springs from a wide array of materials. This spring was composed of an AISI approved, ASTM A313, 302-stainless steel, with an outside diameter of 2.49 mm.

After forming, the finished torsion springs are also passivized, and feature 2.16 active coils, and dimensions of 17.10 mm of outside diameter (±.375). This product is manufactured to angular tolerances ±2°, and overall tolerances of ±.13 mm. These custom fabricated torsion springs are fabricated in quantities of 75,000 annually, with orders typically being filled with 4 weeks of lead time.
